| A crater on the lunar farside, 180 kilometres (110 miles) in diameter. The crater floor is partially flooded by dark lava, through which a central peak protrudes. In a hemisphere devoid of dark maria, in marked contrast to the Moon's nearside, Tsiolkovskii is one of the most prominent features. |
